Our history

Enzym Group's origins are traced back to the inception of yeast production in Ukraine. Our history has always been driven by innovation and relentless exploration of yeast cell potential.

2024

Enzym Group celebrates its 30th anniversary

2022

Despite the full-scale invasion, production continued uninterrupted. In the spring, the company was supplying yeast to the entire country. With the efforts of its own engineers, Enzym successfully launched and operationalized the innovative LinkCell plant

2021

The launch of the first superfood product in Ukraine - the Yeast Flakes

2014

Embarked on a journey into biotechnology to develop innovative yeast cell-based products

2006

The company solidified its leading position in the yeast market in Ukraine

2003

Initiation of the product exports

1996

Enzym Company" became the first in Ukraine to produce dry yeast

1994

Orest Vovk established JSC "Enzym Company"

1945

Post-World War II, the "Lviv Yeast Factory" was inaugurated

1922

The "Lysynetska Factory for Compressed Yeast and Alcohol" was established

1870

A brewery was founded by Grund on the site where Enzym Group now stands
