Awards for Resilience and Sustainability: Enzym Group
We have received the "Sustainable Impact Award 2026" from the Association of Sustainable Development Experts. Our project focused on wastewater treatment facilities and energy efficiency was recognized in the "Environmental Leadership" category.
For us, this award is the result of a systematic approach to our operations. We began developing our wastewater treatment facilities in the early 2000s and have been continuously modernizing them ever since. Today, we not only treat our industrial wastewater but also generate biogas, which we utilize for our own operational needs.
We thank the jury members for their high appraisal of our work.
Special thanks and congratulations go to our wastewater treatment team. This achievement is made possible by your daily hard work, dedication, and expertise.
We also received the "RESILIENCE MARK"—an award recognizing the resilience of Ukrainian businesses—presented by the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World and the Office of Sustainable Solutions.
Our team was honored for maintaining production—which is vital for food security—continuing our technological transformation during the war, and our systematic work on energy efficiency.
Every day, businesses in Ukraine face new challenges and are forced to make difficult decisions. For us, resilience means the ability to adapt to circumstances, preserve critical processes, and maintain a long-term focus simultaneously.
This approach is embedded in the ESG strategy that Enzym Group adopted in 2024. It enables us to work systematically across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas and to plan for changes years into the future.
Participation in Industry Events
The Enzym Bakery Solutions team took part in "Dni Otwarte" (Open Days)—a traditional exhibition hosted by the Polish distributor Polmarkus, with whom our company has collaborated for over 14 years.
At our booth, we highlighted "Effect GOLD," an osmotolerant compressed yeast. The product drew significant interest from manufacturers specializing in sweet baked goods.
Designed specifically for rich doughs with high sugar and fat content, this yeast ensures stable fermentation in complex recipes, increases the volume of the finished products, and improves crumb structure.
For us, the exhibition served as an excellent opportunity to connect with existing clients, meet new partners, and gather feedback on this new product.
We thank the Polmarkus team for their partnership and for the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the Polish market.
The Enzym Feed Solutions team participated in two industry events.
We met with partners and representatives from the feed industry at the international practical forum "FEED PRODUCTION: Industry Challenges," where our R&D scientist, Iryna Matiukha, delivered a presentation. She discussed the role of yeast-based products in enhancing feeding efficiency and animal productivity.
Meanwhile, at the event titled "DAIRY FARMING INDUSTRY: Challenges. Risks. Changes. Solutions," the focus was on the dairy farming sector. The team presented our feed solutions and discussed their practical application with industry experts, while Iryna Matiukha gave a presentation on yeast-based additives for ruminant nutrition—covering everything from their mechanism of action to the actual outcomes observed on the farm.
Such meetings provide an opportunity to share our expertise, gather feedback from the industry, and incorporate these insights into the ongoing development of Enzym Feed Solutions products. We keep moving forward!
A New Solution for Aquaculture
An additive from Enzym Feed Solutions designed for aquaculture has successfully undergone field trials.
The study was conducted this summer on juvenile African sharptooth catfish (*Clarias gariepinus*) at a fish farm in the Khmelnytskyi region. For several years, researchers from the Institute of Fisheries, Marine Ecology and Oceanography—in collaboration with specialists from NULES (National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine) and the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University—have been working on developing feed formulations and testing domestically produced feeds. In this instance, they incorporated our yeast-cell-based product into the feed.
The results showed that the catfish grew faster, experienced lower mortality rates, demonstrated better feed conversion, and yielded more flesh.
For Enzym Feed Solutions, this marks a significant step in the development of our aquaculture portfolio. Previously, our yeast-based products were successfully tested on shrimp. Moving forward, we plan to refine these solutions and explore their application for other species, including trout and salmon.
Step by step, we are expanding the capabilities of Enzym Feed Solutions. Leisure and Activities at Enzym Group
The Enzym team visited "That Day" ("Той день")—an interactive exhibition by Ukraine WOW dedicated to the 35 years of Ukraine’s restored independence. It highlights our victories, the people, and the events that have shaped the country’s modern history.
Supporting Ukrainian projects that help preserve this history—and present it in a vibrant, engaging way—is important to us. It aligns with our core values: understanding our past allows us to better comprehend who we are today, appreciate what we have, and remember the price at which Ukraine continues its journey.
We thank the exhibition’s creator, Yaroslava Gres, for guiding the Enzym team through the exhibit and giving us the chance to experience this history together.
In October, the team also took part in a wonderful Ukrainian tradition: on October 27—the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language—we joined in writing the Dictation of National Unity. It is an act that brings us all closer together, no matter where we happen to be—whether in Ukraine or anywhere else in the world.
World Food Day at Enzym Group
On October 16, the world observes World Food Day. This day was established with the vision that every person should have access to safe, diverse, and nutritious food.
At Enzym Group, we are proud to be part of this vital collective mission. We develop innovative solutions based on yeast cells that make food both healthier and tastier.
Even in challenging times, Ukraine continues to grow and produce food. Ukrainian producers work every day to ensure that high-quality products reach tables—both here at home and far beyond our borders.
