During the month, the team shared insights from global events that they managed to attend at the end of the year.
Enzym Feed Solutions learned about what products the Middle East livestock market is looking for today at VIV MEA in Abu Dhabi, one of the region’s key exhibitions in the field of livestock, poultry, feed and veterinary technologies.
Among the main observations is a steady movement towards antibiotic-free solutions. Demand for natural ingredients and functional yeast products that support animal immunity is growing. For us, this is a clear signal that the market is open to biotechnological approaches, and therefore promising for Enzym Group solutions.
Another important insight: Middle Eastern countries are actively investing in innovation. High-tech biosolutions are not a trend “for the future”, but a vector that the region is betting on. And it coincides with our development strategy.
Participation in VIV MEA was an opportunity to present Feed Solutions products, discuss prospects for cooperation and see that we are moving in the right and promising direction.
And Enzym Food Solutions learned about the food ingredients industry in the world and the beginning of its new stage at FIE 2025 in Paris.
According to the team's conclusions, this stage is with a clear focus on natural solutions and products with a high protein content.
Sustainable development is no longer an "option", but a basic expectation of the market. There is a growing demand among consumers for clean, transparent and understandable formulations - with an emphasis on plant-based raw materials and without artificial additives.
The return of interest in yeast-based and fermentation-based solutions is another noticeable trend. Yeast extracts and specialty yeasts are considered not just as products, but as drivers of industry development.
For Enzym Group, this is a clear signal that the potential of Food Solutions products will only grow. After all, we offer yeast-based ingredients to improve taste, nutritional properties, and to create products with a "clean" label.
We are working to expand our capabilities to develop existing solutions and create new ones that will meet market demands.
The holiday season at Enzym Group
The whole month was filled with moments of preparation and celebration of Christmas. Enzym employees shared their childhood memories of the day when they received gifts under the Christmas tree or pillow. What exactly they remembered - watch the video.
The Christmas period for Enzym Group is also one of the peak periods for our production. After all, yeast is needed for traditional baking. And it is they who become one of the most demanded products before the holidays.
This means that the load on production, logistics and sales increases significantly and without a clear system it is impossible to cope with this.
One of the key points that helps us during such peak periods is that a few years ago we increased production capacity from 40 to 60 thousand tons per year, while also increasing fermentation capacity.
In addition, we emphasize flexible production and close cooperation with customers. The team works to ensure a balance between forecasting and adaptability.
Our supply chain operates on an end-to-end principle, which includes all stages from the production of goods to their delivery to customers. The pull principle allows us to respond promptly to changes in demand, such as before the holidays. It means that since the product life is short, stocks do not exceed 2 days, and delivery is carried out within 24 hours.
All this allows us to act clearly and coordinated during peak periods before the holidays: prepare for several months in advance, analyze and plan sales based on data from previous years, and allocate production and logistics capacities accordingly.
We measure the effectiveness of such a system by the out-of-stock level. Also, the distributor order fulfillment rate, which today exceeds 99.5%.
