How the Enzym Group team has changed
At the beginning of 2026, the company consists of 470 Enzym employees — 73 of them became part of the team over the previous year. With daily steps, each and every one helps Enzym Group grow and transform into a biotechnology company.
27 of our colleagues are in the military. We are proud of and support their actions: we continue to pay salaries and always respond to their requests. Last year, we processed 30 such appeals worth 1.3 million hryvnias.
We are convinced that work can give a sense of stability, and the team can be an environment where you want to build something new. Therefore, we continue to develop and improve the program of work with veterans. At the beginning of 2026, there are three veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war among Enzym employees.

What Enzym Group has done to reduce resource use and environmental impact
Smart use of resources is the principle of Enzym Group’s work, formed over decades.
We operate our own processing system, thanks to which the company generates biogas, a renewable energy source. We replace the use of natural gas with biogas. In 2025, the replacement rate increased to 64.5%, and in June it reached a record 75%.
At the same time, we are increasing the efficiency of resource use per ton of yeast concentrate produced. Last year, using this approach, we managed to reduce the specific use of electricity by 1.64%, heat by 6.36%, and water by 9.35%.
What do these indicators mean? Less load on the energy system, less water consumption and responsible production without loss of quality.
We went to these results step by step, aware of our impact: through modernization, technological solutions and team work. We strive to continue to adhere to our ESG strategy and move towards sustainable development in numbers, processes and daily decisions.
Products sold and cooperation with partners are the main things about the financial year of Enzym Group
In 2025, we focused on what directly depends on us: the quality of work, compliance with agreements with partners and the establishment of internal processes.
During this time, we sold more than 46 thousand tons of products in Ukraine and abroad, covering 28 countries in the areas of: Feed, Food, Bakery and Alcohol Solutions.
The experience of the past year shows that the market is ready for solutions based on natural ingredients. This is no longer a trend, but the future, which is becoming a reality step by step. Therefore, the plans for 2026 are to increase the share of sales of new Enzym Group products based on yeast cells.

Recruitment for a free biotechnology course for Lviv school students in grades 8-11
During the six-month course, students will be able to go beyond theory and feel the drive of real laboratory work at the free course “Fundamentals of Biotechnology”, which we conduct in cooperation with the School of the Free and the Indifferent.
Students in grades 8-11 who are passionate about natural sciences, want to see the work of a laboratory from the inside and try their hand at science can join.
Participants will have six months of practical work at the Enzym Group R&D center in Lviv. The first module of the course about the world of bacterial biotechnology teaches:
“hunt” for bacteria in real samples
understand how microorganisms create enzymes and antibiotics
work with a microscope and conduct their own experiments.
