Enzym Group ESG Strategy - how we built it
Iryna Voytovych, Director of Communications and Reputation Management of Enzym Group, shares practical advice based on our experience in a column for The Page.
In 2024, we developed an ESG strategy for 5 years. Why it is important and how to get there step by step, read the link in the comments.
From Enzym Group's own experience, it becomes clear that trust is increasingly becoming a condition for entering international markets.
Today, partners look at business through the prism of shared values. Transparency, attitude towards people, responsibility to the environment are not additional criteria, but a coordinate system of a potential partner, which is called ESG principles.
For Ukrainian business, this means one thing: not adaptation to the market, but rethinking approaches. And this is no longer just a matter of reputation - it is a matter of competitiveness.
On July 7, Enzym Group celebrates 32 years
During this time, the company has gone from a manufacturer of baking yeast to a business that develops biotechnological solutions for the food and feed industry and continues its transformation into a global biotech company.
The basis of this development remains the yeast cell. For more than three decades, it has been the basis of our research, new products and solutions for various industries and international markets.
Traditionally, on the occasion of Enzym Group's birthday, it celebrates employees who contribute to the development of the company with their work, initiative and results.
Behind each of Enzym Group's 32 years, there are people who, with their expertise, responsibility and readiness for change, help the company develop Ukrainian biotechnologies, create new products and enter international markets.
Operator of pure yeast culture cultivation - we test the profession
Together with the job search site work.ua, we test the profession at the Enzym Group production facility. They say that bread is the key to everything. But before it gets to the table, the yeast and the people who make it have to do their job.
So we showed our partners the scale of production, introduced them to the employees, and told them about the profession that begins the first stages of yeast cultivation.
In July, Enzym Group is looking for new employees
We invite those who value a professional approach, love their job, and want to work for a company that is developing and creating new opportunities for growth to join the team.
Current vacancies can be found on our website. We are looking for both production personnel and employees for positions that involve working in the office.
Shared experience with KMBS
Participants of the Executive MBA field trip module from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School visited Enzym Group. The topic of conversation was business transformation.
CEO Andriy Tsegelyk presented the company's approach to transforming into a global biotechnology company.
The traditional yeast market is shrinking. Instead, global demand for biotech solutions, feed ingredients and value-added products is growing — and this is what is shaping new business requirements and determining the direction of its movement. This means that our focus on science, innovation and international development requires changes not only in products, but also in business processes, structure and management. And we are working on their implementation.
Thank you to KMBS for the visit and professional dialogue: an open exchange of management experience makes Ukrainian business stronger.
