Lviv Yeast joined the project "Plus for Life" from Silpo
Our Lviv Yeast from Enzym Bakery Solutions joined the social initiative "Plus for Life" from Silpo. 1 hryvnia from each pack of yeast purchased in supermarkets or the online store of the chain is donated to the purchase of tactical medical supplies for medics for the GUR, the Azov brigades and the 3rd OSHBr and other soldiers. Alone, 1 hryvnia is invisible, but together with thousands of others it becomes a significant help for our defenders.
We believe that business responsibility is manifested not only in what and how to produce, but also in what initiatives to support and what changes to join together with partners and consumers. This initiative is an opportunity to help those who defend our country every day.

Independence Pie – we cherish Ukrainian traditions
Lvivski Drizdzhi supports the Independence Pie initiative, and with it — the creation of a new tradition: to bake a pie every year by August 24
This is a good opportunity on the day of the restoration of Ukraine's independence to find and repeat a family recipe or choose your own — the one that will later be passed down from generation to generation.
For us, this is a special partnership. After all, Enzym Group is a family company, and our Lvivski Drizdzhi brand has been helping Ukrainians create homemade pastries for over 30 years.
In Ukrainian culture, pies were used to treat guests and see them off, they were prepared for holidays and important events. Exploring the culinary practices of the regions is one of the tasks of the My Independence Pie competition, which is part of the initiative this year.
“Lvivski Drizdzhi” also acted as the title partner of the competition within the initiative, in which you could tell the story of your pie and share the recipe. Participants also had a chance to win a prize.

Enzym Group joined the Ukraine WOW initiative and the “Come Back Alive” fund
The organizations recreated 1,000 copies of the flag that was brought into the hall of the Verkhovna Rada on August 24, 1991 and which witnessed the proclamation of Ukraine’s Independence.
We purchased 13 such flags, directing 550,000 hryvnias to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Half of the amount was collected by Enzym Group members during the campaign “We will donate a working day to the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, and the other half was added by Enzym Group co-owner Olena Vovk. The “Return Alive” fund will direct the funds to ground robotic complexes for our military.
And we continued the story of these flags. 10 out of 13 were donated to schools and organizations with which we share common values. One of them remains with the Lviv community.
Among the recipients are schools where the founders of Enzym Group studied. For us, this has a special meaning: to pass on the symbol of Ukrainian independence to where the next generation is being formed today.
35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence Day
35 years ago, Ukrainians made a choice in favor of independence and the restoration of their own state. It was a time when the desire for freedom united millions. The struggle for the right to live on their land continues. We thank the defenders and defenders who are fighting for our independence. Among them are 27 Enzym employees who changed jobs for military service.
We at Enzym Group are proud to be part of the history of Ukraine — this is our home, our production, our people. For over 30 years, we have been multiplying what we have and creating something new — from family baking traditions to Ukrainian biotechnologies that enter global markets. Because independence is a choice. We are grateful to everyone who makes this choice every day.
We share the practices of wastewater treatment plants with MHP
We recently hosted ecologists and specialists in sustainable development of MHP at Enzym Group. Our colleagues came to adopt our approaches to the operation of wastewater treatment plants.
During the visit, we showed the full technological cycle and told how we combine wastewater treatment with the generation of biogas, which replaces traditional energy sources in our production.
The wastewater treatment plants have been operating at Enzym Group since the early 2000s. During this time, we have carried out two stages of modernization, and over the past decade we have increased biogas generation by 130%. For us, this is a practical dimension of ESG - to constantly reduce the environmental impact of production and at the same time increase the resource efficiency of the business.
We are glad that our expertise is becoming a useful reference point for other Ukrainian companies. Such meetings are an opportunity to compare approaches, exchange practices and together find more effective solutions for sustainable production.
