Director of our R&D Center, Olena Krasovska, together with the INSCIENCE organization, shared her observations on the current situation in the scientific labor market.
She leads a team of 25 scientists and technologists who turn ideas into effective yeast-based solutions for further production.
Olena Krasovska has been in science for more than 25 years. She worked for over 13 years as an engineer at the Institute of Cell Biology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2013, she has been working at the biotech company Enzym Group. With such extensive experience, the scientist admits that today there is an acute shortage of talent in science.
First meeting of the AI community at Enzym Group and Kormotech
Recently, we created an AI community — a space for employee development, the exchange of new ideas, and learning the basics of artificial intelligence.
In August, after completing the first training lessons, community members met both online and offline with an artificial intelligence expert. In total, 150 employees took part. The meeting became a true dialogue. The mentor explained how AI can help us improve our daily work.
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their impressions of the course. Nineteen members who achieved the highest course completion ratings received a pleasant surprise — community-branded T-shirts.
Next, the community members will face practical assignments.
We believe that growth begins with openness to new things.
Independence Day at Enzym Group
This year, in addition to our greetings, we also asked employees who are the same age as Ukraine’s independence what this concept means to them.
For some — it is freedom of choice. For others — responsibility. And for others — a sense of dignity.
Each of us may have our own perspective, but the shared meaning is clear: to live freely in our own country.
Watch the video where Enzym colleagues share what this word means to them.
Our CEO, Andriy Tsehelyk, also congratulated the team:
“This day is a reminder of the dream of millions of Ukrainians to have their own free state. A dream that generations have fought for and that today our soldiers are bravely defending.
Together, we are making the country stronger every day. Independence is also responsibility. And I am grateful to everyone for your dedication, professionalism, and readiness to work toward our shared goal.
Special thanks to our Heroes — the defenders of Ukraine. Thanks to their courage, self-sacrifice, and strength, we can work, live, and plan for the future. Eternal honor to those who gave their lives.
We will definitely build a Ukraine that we will be proud of — modern, strong, and just.”
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
