The UN Global Compact in Ukraine is the official representation of the world's largest community of responsible business, which calls on companies to build strategies and operations taking into account the principles of corporate sustainability and ESG.
Enzym Group has been working with ESG principles in mind since 2024, having approved its own 5-year strategy. The company is implementing a number of projects in the areas of environment, energy efficiency, employee well-being and health, as well as corporate governance transparency. According to the results of the 2025 reporting and according to the assessment of an independent jury, Enzym Group is among the TOP 5 sustainable development companies in Ukraine.
A key achievement is the development of energy independence. Over the past 10 years, biogas generation volumes have increased by 130%. Thanks to its own biogas-producing treatment facilities, Enzym Group in June 2025 recorded its own record level of natural gas substitution - 75%, and the average annual figure for the company is 64.5%. In addition to the energy transition, we demonstrate systemic resource savings: water and heat consumption.
In the social sector, Enzym Group focuses on developing Ukraine's scientific potential. Total investments in educational and scientific programs in 2022–2025 exceeded UAH 18 million. The company is also actively involved in reconstruction: in 2025, together with partners, we restored a residential building in Lviv that was damaged by shelling.
“We develop business in compliance with the principles of sustainable development” is the main approach of our work, and it is an honor for us to join the UN Global Compact. This is an important step in our responsibility to colleagues, society and the world. Together, we strive to create a better future for all, invest in the sustainable recovery of Ukraine and promote balanced development at the global level,” said Andriy Tsegelyk, CEO of Enzym Group.
