Enzym employees are those who create the history of Ukrainian business in the world. The first nine months of 2025 were both interesting and difficult.
Today, the team has over 470 employees. We are united by common values and the desire to create a better future.
5 insights about Lean in Enzym Group
This system has been operating for over 3 years and is focused on efficiency and continuous improvement: minimizing losses, quality, safety and employee engagement. Lean has become the basis for changes: from replacing natural gas with biogas (on average over 60%) to developing leadership and efficiency.
How Lean helps Enzym Group transform, our Oleksiy Oliynychuk, Chief Supply Chain Officer, told at this year's Lean Institute Ukraine summit.
Key conclusions:
1. The strength of the brand is in quality and service. Thanks to Lean tools, we better understand customer needs and ensure quality at every stage of cooperation.
2. Less costs — more systematicity. Lean eliminates unnecessary things, reduces costs and makes products more competitive.
3. Leadership development. A leader is our employee-mentor, coach and a person who, through his own example and actions, involves his colleagues in work for results.
4. Continuous learning. A T&D column has been launched at the production facility, which helps employees gain new knowledge and master related professions.
5. Everyone’s involvement. Autonomous teams work in the areas. People are responsible for processes, suggest improvements and are included in the work.
We at Enzym Group know for sure that Lean is not a one-time initiative. It is daily work and it gives results.
October 16 is World Bread Day
For our people, it is more than food. It is the warmth of home, a symbol of hospitality and abundance.
And this year, on the occasion of this holiday, Enzym employees shared what associations they have when they mention bread.
For the Enzym Group team, this is a special day, because our products include baker's yeast - an important ingredient in baking bread both at home and in bakeries across the country.
In addition, we create everything you need for perfect baking: from additives to improve taste and aroma - to ready-made mixtures with a useful composition. It is valuable to be involved in this process.
Food Industry Workers' Day
This holiday is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of October. Behind every product that reaches our table is the work of hundreds of people.
Every technologist, engineer, microbiologist, packer, logistician, quality controller, developer, laboratory worker, line operator is part of a single mechanism that ensures the safety, quality and stability of food production.
At Enzym Group, we know for sure that the food industry is about science, innovation, responsibility and love for the job. We are proud to be a part of it.
Enzym Group is an intellectual partner of the New Food Summit 2025
This event is a space where science, business and people come together to create the future of food. This year, we talked about how Ukraine can be among the leaders of innovations in the field of food technologies.
As Enzym Group co-owner Olena Vovk noted, focusing only on trends is not enough. It is important to find our own directions in which we can be trendsetters.
The focus of the event is also on the operational efficiency of business. After all, today it is not only about saving resources, but also about the ability to quickly adapt to changes and remain profitable even in difficult conditions. How it works at Enzym Group, our CEO Andriy Tsegelyk shared during the discussion.
For us, participation in the New Food Summit is a way to talk about innovations that are born here, in Ukraine, and inspire the creation of food systems of the future.
We are developing products with new functional properties – enriched with vitamins, omega-3 and other beneficial components. R&D Director of Enzym Group Olena Krasovska is convinced that this is a step towards a new category of food – one that cares not only about taste, but also about health.
And the confirmation of these words was the award for Flakes from Enzym Group in the “Breakthrough Product 2025” competition.
A total of 36 products participated in the competition. The jury evaluated them according to three criteria – taste, functionality and innovation.
Our Flakes are an ideal addition to the diet of those who choose a healthy and conscious diet. Inactive yeast flakes with a cheese-nut flavor are a source of protein — 45%, fiber — 21%, and B vitamins.
Scientist Oleksandr Yushchuk is the new recipient of the Orest Vovk UCU scholarship
We are pleased to welcome Doctor of Biological Sciences Oleksandr Yushchuk.
This year, the Enzym Group team funded a teaching scholarship for a scientist who manages the “Applied Molecular Genetics and Bioinformatics” program, which unites future biologists and IT specialists in the search for new solutions for science.
This is a bold step that opens up opportunities for the university and future researchers. Oleksandr’s work creates synergy between different fields and proves that anything is possible in science.
The scholarship was established by the Vovk family and Enzym Group in 2020. We believe that the development of science begins with the support of people who are not afraid to experiment.
We wish Alexander successful implementation of the project and new discoveries for the future.
