Enzym Group at business events
CEO of Enzym Group Andriy Tsegelyk took part in the panel discussion Food, Fuel, Future at Black Sea Grain Kyiv 2026
The main topic is how to scale processing in Ukraine and this is an issue that today goes far beyond the agricultural sector.
One of the key focuses is that processing does not start with equipment. It starts with understanding what exactly you are creating and for whom.
In our case, these are products from the Food and Feed directions, which are based on deep processing of yeast cells and have applications in various segments - from food ingredients to solutions for livestock farming.
Another level is working with resources. Today, production is also about the energy you generate and how you use it. Our own biogas allows us to be more flexible in these matters.
Such discussions are an opportunity to look more broadly: how the industry is transforming and what determines its development in the coming years.
Because the future of processing is about choosing an approach.
Chief Supply Chain Officer of Enzym Group Oleksiy Oliynychuk also attended the New Makers event for manufacturers in April. During the panel discussion, he shared his experience on how to create global products based on human resources.
The focus of the event is also on production automation, which can strengthen teams, not replace them. After all, the final result is formed by people who work with technologies and constantly improve them. An example of this is our innovative Linkcell production, where 90% of processes are automated, and this became possible only thanks to the team.
Opportunities from Enzym Group for students
The next stream of biotech studies from Enzym Group has ended. The intensive brings together students of 4–5 years of biotechnology specialties from all over Ukraine to study in our R&D center.
We do not repeat the program: the team creates new tasks each time so that students get maximum real experience working in the laboratory. In this stream, 15 participants who passed the selection worked with our specialists.
“Biotechnological studios became this year’s discovery for me and an impetus to build my career in biotechnology,” says Angelina Buzhak, a student at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Bioengineering of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
This year, 2 students from this educational institution took part in our Biotech Studios for the first time. For us, this is an important signal: more and more people are learning about the project, and interest in biotechnology in Ukraine is growing.
Biotech studios are a place where theory turns into practice. We are already preparing for the next recruitment. Follow the updates and be sure to apply. Discover the world of biotechnology with Enzym Group.
Also in April, with the support of Enzym Group, a student hackathon was held at the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies of Lviv Polytechnic — a format in which students work with real R&D tasks.
This is a continuation of our cooperation with the university, which we are developing, in particular through the DeepTech Prototyping Laboratory - an environment where ideas become practical solutions.
For students studying biotechnology, we have chosen topics that correspond to our R&D areas. All of them were related to the yeast cell in one way or another.
We are glad to congratulate the winners, as well as all students who took part in the hackathon.
The participants received comments from our R&D team. We are discussing cooperation opportunities: from participation in research projects to the development of the best ideas in our processes.
The value of such formats for our company is the opportunity to see new approaches, find future specialists and form a community that works with biotechnology in practice. We are already planning the next stage with a focus on real problems.
Enzym Group's cooperation with the UN General Assembly in Ukraine
